Digital Scanning

High quality scanning is the best way to preserve your printed memories and share them with others. I can scan photos, albums, scrapbooks, letters, documents, oversized images, etc. I will scan your images at 600dpi, and instead of just dumping all of them on a flash drive, I will name and organize them in a folder structure on a flash drive that will be easily accessible.

Note: the better organized the photos are before scanning, the better organized they will be digitally.

Images up to 8.5×11:

$0.59 each

Oversized items larger than 8.5×11:

$1.20 each

Negatives/Slides:

You will also be responsible for the cost of the flash drive.

*If the items are brittle, need to be removed from sheet protectors, etc, additional fees may be incurred.

Digital Organizing Package

A Digital Organizing Package is for anyone who struggles to make sense of all of their photos located in multiple places. I will gather all of your digital images from all of your sources, eliminate duplicates, rename and organize all of the files chronologically, and create a user-friendly digital catalog all on an external hard drive that can be uploaded to a cloud storage service as a backup. This work can all done remotely.

Basic Package:

images from up to 3 sources (phones and computers most common)- $1000

Standard Package:

images from up to 5 sources- $1500

After 5 sources, it will be $150 for each additional source

*You will also be responsible for the cost of the hard drive

Annual Maintenance Package

Once you have purchased a Digital Organizing Package, it can quickly become out-of-date if you don’t keep on top of it yearly. When you purchase an Annual Maintenance Package, I will go through and cleanup your most recent year’s photos and add them to your digital catalog.

Annual Maintenance: $150 per year

Printed Photo Organizing

Yes, you can actually hand me your boxes, albums, and totes of old photographs, and I will organize them for you! I use a unique system to quickly get your photos in chronological order and help identify both important photos as well as duplicates and ones you may want to discard. In the end you have all of your printed photos organized, boxed, and labeled. They are then ready to scan, share with loved ones, or both!

Printed Photo Organizing:

$65 per hour

*You will also be responsible for the cost of the flash drive and any long term storage boxes you choose.

Other Digital Organizing

Perhaps you need help with digital organizing, but you have something else in mind besides one of the package plans listed above. For example, maybe you want me to clean out your Apple or Google Photos libraries or correct dates to scanned images so they go into one of those libraries chronologically; or maybe it’s something else entirely. Let’s talk about what you need and how I can help.

A la Carte Digital Organizing:

$65 per hour

Coaching Sessions

Perhaps you want to do your project yourself, but you need a expert to help guide you with using your phone/computer or understanding best practices. Or maybe you want me to do some parts of the project, but you want help on others.

Whatever your needs, I am happy to offer coaching sessions both in-person at your home (if local) or remotely. As part of your coaching session, I will provide you with resources personalized to your needs, so you can feel confident in doing the work you want to do on your own.

Coaching Sessions:

$65 per hour
